You will be told the fee before the agreed work begins.

What Does My Fee Include?
Your quotation will clearly identify the work covered. Depending upon the instruction, this may include reviewing the papers, taking your instructions, a conference with Counsel, preparation, agreed drafting, attendance at the hearing, advocacy and brief advice following the hearing.
Unless expressly included in your quotation, fees do not cover additional or adjourned hearings, appeals, expert fees, court fees, transcripts, extensive additional drafting, substantial new evidence, third party costs, or work falling outside the agreed scope. Travel and accommodation may also be charged separately where applicable.
If the scope of the case changes materially, any additional fee will be discussed with you before additional work is undertaken.
For an explanation of indicative timescales and the factors that may affect them, see Direct Access — How It Works.
